So this is weirdly specific, I would have posted in the questions thread but I need help on this as soon as possible and thought that posting separate would be more likely to get some responses (sorry if that's not cool I can delete if I need to).

Basically my project is a "photo quilt" I have a bunch of small photos that I want to stitch together into a grid with small gaps between every photo. Because they won't be overlapping I'm really unsure of what stitch would work to keep that gap between the photos and not look cruddy or sloppy, I want it to look as clean as it can, but I'm only familiar with super basic hand stitches and nothing I know of would work right I don't think. Any suggestions you have are greatly appreciated!!
